One star deducted because I don't think the size is right. I measured my pup and followed their recommendations (I think I bought the medium) and it turned out to be a bit large. It should have grown by now so I was worried but luckily we can tighten almost any strap to make it a snug fit. The pockets are a good size, we bought collapsible dog bowls and they fit perfectly in the side pockets! There is a handle on the spine where we can attach a leash or a Caribbean leash or whatever! We have a large water/dog food bottle that didn't fit in our bags but we put it on top and it worked great! I'll upload a photo later Please note that dogs don't like carrying things, especially if they aren't used to such things, so don't assume your dog will be uncomfortable putting them on for the first time. and they act like they have to learn to walk again. After a few rounds of extractions in this one, she barely noticed, but at first it seriously looked like she'd forgotten all the features! lol love it! Pink is good too!
