Good case for the price. I wish people would stop using the word "leather" for vinyl, but I'm already used to that from Revain. This case is quite light and fits the next generation iPad Air well, the keyboard connects easily and the backlight works. I've had several iPad hard cases with keyboards over the years and this is my first folio style case. Those who are used to hard shells may take a little getting used to, because typing comfortably requires 1) folding the sloping cover behind the iPad and 2) sliding the keyboard toward or away from you until it snaps into place on the iPad. at a right angle. (The angle depends on whether the iPad is on your lap or on a table.) So far, this has worked for me. Also, the frame that the iPad sits in is secure but doesn't allow the use of the fingerprint scanner. So 4 stars, not 5.
