You need to protect the pillows from moisture and other things and they do a great job of that. But they're just as breathable as condoms, and that's the problem. I managed to literally inflate one of them like a balloon because they don't breathe. And the problem this creates is that you put your head down and instead of putting it on the pillow, it's resting on the air pocket. Or worse, like shrink wrap, if you squeeze all of the air out of the pillowcase, the pillow itself will shrink and not flex properly. They also do not match the manufacturer's pillows. You are still too big. In general, it would be nice to store pillows to protect them. But otherwise save your money. I would like to have.
