The perfect pouch for cooking corn and veggies

I prefer to cook corn on the cob in microwavable plastic cooking pouches. They've been in short supply for the past few years, I could only find a medium size and now I guess they make them fast. Anyway I saw these XL silicone pouches and bought a set of 2 blue translucent pouches, one pouch fits up to 4 corn on the cob. You add a few tablespoons of water (helps rid your ear of steam) and leave about an inch of the bag open to let the steam out. I have found that my 1100w microwave only takes 4 minutes to cook 4 ears of corn in a bag (best to leave them in the bag for 2-4 minutes after the cooking cycle is complete. PS: I use tongs, to pull them out when the bag gets hot inside - steam = 212+). I cooked 3 ears in 2 bags each at a time in 6 minutes. Cooking an ear of corn can take as little as 2 minutes depending on your microwave and the temperature of the corn at the start of cooking. The bags are easy to clean and the blue tint makes them nice and easy to store as they lay flat. They're great for roast potatoes and other veggies, plus you can store the food you want to cook in it in the fridge or freezer and pop it straight into the microwave.
