I love Logitech products. I use a G13 gamepad and G700s wireless mouse and am more than happy with it. Before that I had a G500 mouse and sometime in 2006 a G5. I got involved with Razer devices about 7 years ago and at the time I wasn't happy with their build quality. Reading the reviews and understanding the $20 price tag, I don't think I was overly optimistic that the F310 gamepad was some sort of secret sleep world, I just thought it would work well and feel acceptable. When I first held it, pressed the buttons, and clicked the analog sticks, I thought Logitech had done just that. Yes, it feels lighter and less durable than an Xbox One controller, and I have an old Afterglow 360 controller that looks better. However, mostly everything was as expected, then my thumb found the cross. It was loose and sloppy and had more play than you would probably expect. It spins freely several degrees clockwise, making it unplayable, at least for me. I taped a toothpick to the 12 o'clock position to show what I'm talking about, please see these photos. To be honest I'm assuming that the particular controller that was sent to me is probably defective and doesn't fit most of the F310s they make. That being said, I don't want to waste anyone's time with the possibility that a replacement unit doesn't have this issue, so I'm returning it immediately for a credit/refund from Revain.
