Review on 🔧 MORryde UO12-021 Heavy Duty Shackle Upgrade Kit: Stock/Equaflex 3-1/8" Shackles - Tandem Axle Enhancement Solution by Daniel Russell

Used on a 7' x 18' tandem cargo trailer. This MOR/Ryde setup is AMAZING. All bushings are brass, not plastic. All metal components are thick and strong! The bolts are "wet" which means they have a grease fitting that I can use to lubricate ALL moving parts. JUST WONDERFUL. The other benefit is that the suspension system is SO quiet and I don't hear any noise when riding over rough terrain. GOOD PRODUCT! I also used a MOR/Ryde setup in combination with a Dexter K7138400 conversion kit. As a result, the suspension springs moved on the axles, rather than the axle running "inside" the spring. The factory setting of the "Inside Spring" axle caused me problems because the structure of the trailer was too close to the ground. I had trouble reversing the trailer in the driveway as the back of the trailer dragged along the ground until the wheels reached the driveway. Mounting the springs on top of the axles gave me the height I needed, eliminating the need to drag the frame over rough terrain. Note that the K7138400 Dexter conversion kit instructions recommend tacking the spring retainer to the axle. I didn't do this at first as I didn't have access to the welder when installing it. I've used the trailer once and double checked the setup after towing and I HAVE slipped one of the brackets to the side. I took it apart and put it back in place and then welded the bracket to the frame. MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH THIS BRACKET TO THE AXLE.
