I returned this product as soon as I noticed that the lighting element is not the one normally used in conventional fans. It was an LED but in the form of a spiral and when I looked for parts I had trouble finding it. The blades were plastic, not metal like I thought when I bought them. While it was beautiful as a chandelier, I wasn't sure if it would last more than a year or so. Unless you're an electrician or know someone willing to fix/fix/replace it when it breaks, it doesn't seem economical. Buying and installing this item can make sense. It wasn't what I was looking for. Also if the buyer has vaulted ceilings I would not recommend as the two extension poles do not exceed the desired distance from the ceiling. This becomes a wiring issue when 24 inches or more is needed.
