I received the fan in about a week. He was from California and I live on the east coast. After receiving the fan, I opened the box to inspect the contents and noticed that the suspension plate (the part that attaches to the electrical box to support the fan's weight) was not in the box. I emailed the seller about this, but luckily my local Home Depot store has this mounting plate and I was able to complete the fan installation by making an extra trip to Home Depot and paying the cost of the part. After installation I noticed that the fan remote control has a high speed of 1 and the lowest speed of 6. This seems to be reversed on all other fans I've seen and I'm not sure why it was designed that way. The fan is otherwise very quiet and serves its purpose. TO UPDATE. I contacted the supplier and they refunded me $10 for the missing part, which I had to purchase from Home Depot. So I increased the star rating to 4. I am satisfied with the result of this question.
