Great starter set for drawing, coloring and art supplies

After more than a year I finally started using this set of colored pencils. This set contains a wide range of colored pencils good enough for tracing your drawings, applying skin tones and coloring in manga. For small details and "lines" I use Verithin colored pencils. The set includes five colors: Black, Cool Grey, Tuscan Red, Dark Brown and Indigo Blue. I tried black, brown, and blue for painting, which gave softer edges, but I was happy with the results. I felt more confident using these drawing pens than real ink as my drawing level is beginner at best. I erased them lightly with a white eraser to get rid of my original pencils and those colors stayed in place. They don't smudge easily after application. 18 Colors Available for Dyeing: Electric Blue, Cloud Blue, Parma Purple, Process Red, Hot Pink, Chartreuse, Light Umbra, White, Black, Lavender, Light Peach, Poppy Red, Pale Red, Hot Yellow, Lemon -yellow, Cream, spring green and ultramarine. The combination of black, white, light amber, light peach, pale red, sun yellow, lemon yellow and cream gives a wide range of human skin tones. I was able to create images with soft colors that suited my taste at the moment. However, with Prismacolors I was able to increase the intensity of the color by applying multiple layers. I also tried erasing the paint with the white eraser and the paint did not smudge where it was originally applied. Overall I think this is a great starter kit for creating manga, comics or any type of color illustration.
