I had a shark and I really liked it but it ended up leaving me so I ordered this Bissell. It has a few downsides, you can't see how much water is left in the device and the main body isn't well balanced. The biggest problem is the nasty burn I got when the plastic pieces fell apart in my hand. This is a major design flaw. The plastic parts don't hold up very well and when they came loose all the vapor went right into my palm. When I finally called support, I got a lot of referrals and no answers or support. Saying I'm dissatisfied means saying nothing. I love steam cleaning, but bad design and support is dangerous. detergent included
