I just installed my new NIBBI carburetor with NIBBI inlet adapter and NIBBI heavy duty air filter. I noticed an immediate performance difference once I installed the carb properly. I installed NIBBI on TaoTao DBX1 140CC. My carburetor had a 110 main jet and a 38 pilot jet. The extras were a #40 pilot jet and a #122 main jet in the box. Right now I'm on 35th pilot and 90th main jet until I get new main jets. 110 was too rich. Assembly is normal except for installing the damn throttle cable in the needle valve assembly. The O-ring that seals the carburetor cap can be fed when installed, it tends to get tangled with the spring. You need 3 hands or maybe 4. My first install had a big vacuum leak and I thought it was the inlet adapter, after a lot of tinkering with the carb I found the o-ring wasn't installed properly but how quickly I made it, Frankenstein was born. The power gain is really noticeable which was the main reason I paid more for this carb and I'm glad the front wheel lifts a lot easier now which allows me to practice on the rear wheel more confidently. If anyone is thinking of buying this carb I would say go for it, just take your time with the install and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. The inlet adapter threads are soft, so do not overtighten the screws or you will easily strip the adapter threads. You will also need to shorten the bolts or buy new ones to properly install the inlet adapter.
