I was a little skeptical about this heater after reading the reviews so I actually gave it a try. Several cups of coffee/tea a day and thus charge my cell phone every day. After 2 weeks of intensive use, the mug shows no signs of wear and the induction pad has not stopped working. Highly, highly recommend as a budget alternative to Ember mugs. The included mug comfortably holds Keurig's largest beverage size, and the temperature is perfect for sipping all day long. Cup and lid are made of very durable and high-quality ceramic. The indicator will flash 10 times when you first place something on the pad, then either stay on to charge or breathe to heat up. Almost no settings are required other than connecting to the network. I will definitely be gifting these mugs this holiday season. My only minor complaint is that the glass surface is very smooth and slippery. If the table you put it on is even slightly crooked, anything you put on it will slide. Not so hard that it fell off the pad, but it got far enough away from the induction coil that the heating/charging stopped.
