No sound. Should have read the description or read other reviews.
I don't know how a product like this can get 3.5 stars with so many 1 and 2 star reviews. But be careful, read the part of the description that says it doesn't support sound, only charging. I would like to have. Or read the comments here. Unfortunately, if you want a fully functional conversion cable to use the latest iPhone with an old car stereo that only supports a 30-pin connection, Apple's official cable is the only one that seems to do it well. I bought this cheap adapter to replace one that stopped working after a few years and just wasted my money. Lesson learned.
