This alternator fits my 2005 BMW X3 but it didn't last two months in the car before it started to wear out rattling which was very loud and annoying and shortly after it stopped charging my car refused to start due to a dead battery. The alternator wasn't recognized either or couldn't communicate with the car's electronics, causing it to throw an error code. This is a very poor product and would not give a single star other than the installation in the car.
