When played back on a TV, it's like a regular dock with no input lag. The button on the back is responsive and quickly switches from TV to charging mode. My only concern is that this is not officially licensed by Nintendo. Since the 5.0 update, there have been cases where third-party dock switches have been blocked, so I'm a little apprehensive about continuing to use this dock (although I will definitely use it). But mine is still in great shape. We just have to see over time. In the end I would highly recommend this dock to everyone else (even if it's the first 3rd piece dock I've used).
