Review on 🚀 Advanced Performance Programmer JET 15003 for Enhanced Engine Optimization by Dylan Goins

I bought this programmer to try but ended up returning it. I have a 2004 F150 Heritage and I bought it to see if it would help me with my gas mileage and adjust the speedometer. After driving a few tanks with it, I could not see any noticeable increase in mileage. My truck also has bigger tires than stock, so I wanted to be able to set the speedometer to the correct speed. After entering the tire size and reprogramming the PCM, I compared my speedometer to the GPS at various speeds. I noticed that at lower speeds the difference between the speedometer and the GPS was very large. At around 100 km/h (on the speedometer), the difference became significantly smaller, but still slightly different (91 km/h on the GPS). I ended up reprogramming it from a 33" tire size to a 32" tire size (the standard tire size is about 31" and the tires I have now are 33") and the speed difference is about 100 km/h (on the speedometer) only about 1-2 km/h (98 km/h according to GPS). I noticed that throttle response and shifting strength improved. So if I was only interested in the performance aspects of this tuner I would keep it. In addition, there is an ez ringtone (canned) and a custom ringtone option. Custom tuning allows you to customize multiple engine and transmission options. As an aside I think they 1) adjust the tire size, 2) increase the harshness of the shifting, 3) increase/decrease the speed at which the transmission shifts from 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 gears ( adjustable individually), 4) increase the rev limiter, 5) remove the speed limiter, and after that I don't remember if there were other adjustable options after that. But I remember there is no way to take into account if you have performance mods installed. It was easy to operate and reprogram the PCM, but in the end I need a programmer with some extra options. I think I'll take a look at the Superchips Flashpaq, from what I've read about it it has a few more "pre-built" tunes (performance, economy and towing) and you have the option to upload a custom voice Get it (if you have a cold air intake, exhaust or other performance mod, you need to get this to maximize the performance gain from the tune).
