Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

UX425EA-BOE268 is the most basic i3 model available. 8 gigabytes, no numeric keypad (at first I thought my hands were crooked because I couldn't install the driver, but it turns out there isn't a numeric keypad); Easy to use even when used by itself. If you need a huge screen, you won't have any trouble connecting it, but you'll need more than one USB connector because you'll also need some form of hub (sometimes known as a "USB hub"). Caution should be exercised when using the version that lacks an operating system. The process of installing windows was fraught with a great deal of difficulty. To begin, the program that can be downloaded from the official Microsoft website fails to successfully generate a flash drive, and as a result, the laptop is unable to recognize it. But even after using Rufus to create a flash drive, the problems do not go away; the installation begins, but it stalls at the point when you select a disk to use for installing the operating system. There are not any disks present! A list of nothing. Without a driver, the installer will not recognize the disk; therefore, you will need to search for the driver separately and then pick it in the installation. To summarize, it is recommended that you spend the additional money for the version that comes with the system if you are not an experienced user and have access to a computer. The camera is not perfect, but it is serviceable enough to be used for video communication. You'll be able to make out the word "soap" if you expand it to fill the entire screen. The volume of the sound is shockingly high. You are still able to hear the sound even if the laptop is 20 meters away while the video is playing. It can be nerve-wracking to turn the volume up higher than 60, with the exception of meetings, in which case the interlocutor may have an extremely quiet microphone.

Pros
  • Nice screen. The brightness is not terrible; on a day when the sun is out, even being in the shade does not bother me. However, if the sun is shining directly onto the screen, virtually nothing will be visible on it. Robust (one may easily carry it by grasping the very edge, and it does not bend in any way). Lightweight is another thing to note. The office chores are really quiet, nothing slows down, and everything loads promptly. FaceID (I even purchased a Chinese infrared camera for 7,000 yuan a couple of years ago to use on a stationary PC, but here it is directly built-in, which is useful) The life of batteries is one day. You won't appreciate how great this keyboard is until you actually use it. Because the right shift key has been made longer, it is now possible to carry out any operation with just one hand (navigation, typing in huge letters, and eliminating the need to reach for the PageUp and PageDn keys, which are used frequently). The fn keys have been remapped to accommodate frequently used functionality such as screen capture and connection to the projector. The volume of the sound is fairly high. The costs are typically 10 percent of the total; Charged using a charger for a mobile phone (only when connected does it growl with the message "insufficient charger power" un the tray). Backlighting for the keyboard Alternating between states "Control functions" via "Keys F1-12" and "Fn + Esc" It is not possible to download anything in addition to the operating system from the recovery partition because all of the essential drivers are retrieved automatically at the time of installation. It is sufficient to log in to the Asus-branded application; the software will process everything automatically if action is required. The simplest installation would be possible if it weren't for the complexities involved in downloading and installing Windows from the Microsoft website (which are explained in further detail in a comment). ASUS does not have any concerns regarding the overall quality of the software.
Cons
  • When working with visuals, noise can be distracting. DotA-level games do not experience any lag, but the laptop's fan is constantly running; the battery only lasts for 8 hours with a penny's worth of charge, depending on the maximum brightness of the screen and the number of hours spent participating in video conferences. When you see the number "22" in the description, you expect more, but it's not a bad product overall; the only item that comes in the package is a charger. The absence of a 3.5mm converter came as an unwelcome and unpleasant surprise. Regarding the miracles that may or may not occur with regard to video communication: there are none. The default setting makes it impossible to use for audio conferences because the participants in the conference hear a dreadful echo of their own voices; nonetheless! When you use the ASUS proprietary tool and select the "conference with one speaker" mode, the audio quality improves to the point where there is almost no background noise and it is incredibly clear. The functionality of the remaining settings is largely subpar; either there is constant white noise in the background, or they cannot hear you unless you bring the volume up to the proper level using the mic's fine-tuned adjustment. Once it has been powered up, you will be able to communicate with the laptop without the use of any headphones or microphones. After 3.5 months, I have decided to supplement: the up and down buttons proved to be a very unsatisfactory option. They get stuck sometimes, not "rising" after being pressed. In addition, I am quite careful when I use a laptop, therefore I find it really annoying when people play tricks like that. It would appear that you will not bring it with you to the service either, due to the fact that it is a trifle, but it is required to work on the laptop - how to part with it for an infinite period of time - but it is also bothersome.
