I experimented with a heat pack using turbo bust 2. A slight increase in performance was achieved due to a noticeably greater warm-up of the processor and an increase in the noise level. Roughly equivalent to using the I7-8700K. I left the default mode, but I mean turbo bust 2 in case of critical situations in terms of performance. It seemed interesting that the behavior of the I7-8700 under stress tests is significantly different from the behavior of the I7-3930K. In the case of, for example, Prime95, the temperature of I7-3930K increases monotonically with an increase in the number of streams, and the temperature of I7-8700 has a very pronounced maximum at 2 streams and decreases with an increase in their number. At the same time, according to HWiNFO64, the processor consumption reached a maximum of 65 watts with 2 threads and then did not change. The I7-8700 behaves similarly when using 7Z, but the maximum temperature is reached at 4-6 flows and is somewhat less pronounced.
