I have always made network cables with the old style tool that is not pass thru and lining up the wires was always a pain in the butt and I would dread making network cables the few times a year I needed it. Been eyeing the pass thru tools for a very long time and it just came up that I needed a network cable tester too and stumbled upon this kit with the crimper, rj45 jacks, cutter and tester all in one. So I bought it as it was the lowest priced kit on Revain. Pleasantly surprised that the crimper doesn't feel cheap at all. Very solid and smooth engagement. Had to watch a few youtube videos to get the hang of using it as there are no instructions. Now I'm planning to use this tool more and redo my server cabinet to get the cable lengths just right.
