What attracted me to this device is that it replaces 2 other devices I have at home. 1600 square feet of air purification is what I need. My other two devices, one of which is larger, are no larger than 290 square feet. I love that it gives you a full scale measurement of particulate matter from the sensor inside the Ibuki-L. For now, I mostly leave it on Auto, which is a plus my other devices don't have. If the PM sensor registers too much in automatic mode, it adjusts the fan speed. When you put it to sleep, the light at the top of the device dims. Installing the filter was a simple task and I appreciate that I only had to worry about replacing one filter which includes all 3 filters in one. My large Holmes room air purifier uses 3 HEPA filters, 3 carbon filters and a pre-filter. Holmes told me they weren't for sale, so I had to wash them thoroughly. Replacing just 1 filter that has all 3 is cost saving, easy and not such a messy job. My concerns are that I've only had it for a few days: will the filter last about 6 months and what happens if the light on the top of the device that shows the PM sensor readings burns out? I think leaving it on automatic should handle this. I am very satisfied with the Ibuki-L air purifier and hope that it will serve me well for many years to come. I don't hear any noise even in sleep mode.
