This is an awesome curtain of lights. I love that it includes the hooks to hang the lights. I'm very pleased with how it looks on my window, as it gave the exact ambiance I was looking for. I agree with other reviewers that the process of getting the lights unraveled will take some time. Perhaps the seller will take note of all the comments and figure out a better way to package them, as it can be a daunting task (I didn't tackle it until after a few days of receiving them since I knew I would need time/patience). After some time using this item, I've noticed the following: although the lights itself don't warm up, the box where you control the type of light you want gets really hot. Not only that, but once it starts getting hot, the selected light mode changes by itself (perhaps to a different selection that will reduce heat?). The heating and changing light nodes by itself after it gets hot has been happening for the past few days. It was working great at first, so I'm a bit disappointed because I do like the lights. Just use with care knowing this may happen.
