Review on HP Pavilion 21.5-Inch Monitor 22Cwa, 1920x1080p, 60Hz, Adjustable Tilt by Michael Farmer

Great first monitor, perfect second monitor

Bought it as a Christmas present in 2017 for €99. It was a great first monitor for my PC journey. It lacked some convenience features like speakers, height adjustment, and swivel functionality, but that's to be expected at this price point. The panel is solid with an IPS display with near-accurate colors. I checked the panel model number and it also matches the latest generation iMac screens, which is why the colors are so great in the first place. The only downsides to this monitor are the extremely limited output interfaces (1 HDMI, 1 VGA) and the lack of a VESA mount out of the box. You'll have to shell out $10-$20 for a VESA adapter. Another point about this monitor is that it can support refresh rates up to 75Hz for those who work on the PC. A few years later I made some major upgrades like installing a VESA mount, a new 27" 1440p monitor, and a monitor mount. If you decide to upgrade your monitor, this is a great second monitor with great viewing angles, be it landscape or portrait. All in all, this is an ideal monitor for entry-level users who want better color accuracy and for those who want a cheap second monitor. Pros + High quality monitor for the price + Color accurate IPS display + Best primary or secondary monitor Cons - Limited I/O - No VESA mount included.
