Make a desk! This is my first time building something so I was very concerned about the result but I have to say that for the price I'm surprised at how strong and sturdy it is. I'm using it now, I've tapped it, leaned on it, tried shaking my leg but it doesn't move at all. I'm sure if you tried to move it and slide it across the floor it would give a little, so make sure you put it up where you want to leave it and don't fumble mess around with it. Building wise it was very easy to assemble, the only difficulty was when I needed someone to hold the parts but I foolishly decided to do it myself. However, I was able to do it, but it may have tripled my time. The instructions were also easy to follow and for me personally I don't think they should be too difficult for anyone. Just read the instructions carefully and use the diagram to determine what each part means before you begin. The hardest part was the keypad, so read carefully. I've also tapped the pieces with wooden dowels with a hammer to really push them into each board, but I'm not sure if you should do that (it's not in the iirc directions), but I think it did helped. There's plenty of room underneath to stretch my legs (I'm 5ft 8in) and I love the raised shelf. I put my laptop in there and put my drawing tablet in the keyboard drawer. I used the cable basket and storage on the right for some books and other items. A little corner under the shelf is a good spot for my mouse! Visually, the wood hasn't been painted or chipped anywhere, and there aren't any rough edges yet. So far I haven't had any problems with this table and for the price I'm very happy with it, even if it breaks after 6 months it would be worth it for me as I needed a table badly but didn't have one. to make a one-off $500 outstanding. For now, this is a great option. UPDATE: Got another table! Still tough and strong lol some of the paint has come off but that's normal wear and tear after 2 years. I also removed it from its original location several times and nothing bad happened. Highly recommended!
