I have to admit I was a little nervous about buying and using this product based on some of the reviews saying it causes burns BUT I haven't had any burns from using this product. . It worked like any other (normal) relaxant. So I have to assume that the product may have been misapplied to cause a burn. For example, leave on for too long, do not use anything to protect the hairline (oil, petroleum jelly, petroleum jelly, etc.), use this product on hair that has been colored within the last two weeks, use on irritated hair scalp or damaged hair. skin from scratches and so on. Eventually, as long as you follow the instructions, you will be fine.
