I got this to take my golf cart with me while I feed the horses which takes 1 1/2 hours. The radio searches for FM and AM stations separately and all you need to do is know the station number you want to listen to and enter it on the numeric keypad. It has handy volume up and down buttons and a retractable antenna. Sometimes it sounds static and when you turn it off and on again everything sounds fine. If you remove the battery, you will need to rescan the channels. The sound quality is good. Works perfectly!
