Review on KEF Q150 Bookshelf Speakers Black by Mateusz Rybarczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

No guys, this is not KEF! This is Dr. Drill Drill Glass Bolt from Monitor Audio! I listened in the salon with Marantz, I liked it very much, I bought it. I can't listen at home with Onkyo A9030! On high scalpel and blood from the ears, but there is no middle at all. That is, there is a middle, of course, but somewhere far away. The sound is detailed, detailed, but very bright. In short, these speakers are indicated if you need to enliven the sound of too soft and sweet-voiced sources. The Q350 is the same, only a plus and they bludgeon with the same fury as the tall ones saw here. And fans of V-shaped frequency response just right, which is not surprising, looking at the current general designer and the entire R&D KEF. I've been using Q-series floorstanders for 15 years in a row - now a similar "relaxed" sound from Wharfedale. ps. Changed to Dali Oberon 1 - there the sound is more balanced, although they look funny on the racks because of their small size.

Pros
  • Sound. Design. Grills on magnets. Modulated plugs for the phase inverter are included.
Cons
  • Sound. Grills are not included and must be purchased separately.
