Battery lasts for many uses. I bought it after a similar device was used by me in physical therapy. Really helps loosen tight muscles. If I used it every day I would probably feel like I had new legs. The problem is that I only use it on bad days. My only functional issue is that the round bead (which I use the most) tends to loosen during use, resulting in an annoying rattle. Funny anecdote: My cat wakes up when I start using it. I thought I would grab him and let him go. Turns out he loves it! Now he comes and pesters me with a massage every time I use it.
