I use Aurifil thread for sewing and quilting and am very happy with the product. Can't recommend enough. This special set contains colorful threads. My favorite are motley tone-on-tone threads, but there are also more contrasting motley colors, such as the black and white motley spool. I would only use these threads for quilting, not sewing. I know the price may confuse you, but there are so many threads in these collections! Let's compare Aurifil to Coats & Clark, which I used exclusively until finally trying Aurifil.
