Bought 3 months ago, washed cold once and air dried, placed on a new double mattress. My child had an accident last night that wet the side of the waterproof mattress pad that was on top of the mattress pad. I was hoping that this mattress topper would save the mattress in cases like this, but moisture seeped through the seam. The mattress is less damp than without the protection, but this protection did not work as expected and I ordered a different brand.
