Review on πŸ” HDMI 2.0 Switch with Audio Extractor - HDR 4K@60Hz YUV 4:4:4 - HDMI to Optical Toslink SPDIF + Analog 3.5mm Headphone Stereo Audio Converter by David Hill

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well, no lag (tested with Time Sleuth), but poor power connection

This is for a 4K 3in/2out switcher that predates the HDMI 2.0 version. I've been using this switch for a while and it works pretty well, apart from the fact that the 5V power input doesn't make a stable connection with Micro USB cables, causing it to toggle on and off when that cable is manipulated. It can only be a one-off defect. But performance is ok. Tested on PC (Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, Nintendo Switch Dock, Playstation 4 (HDCP disabled) and as an input source for Elgato 4k60 Pro with no issues or noticeable lag, tested at 1080p 60Hz with Time Sleuth. I would only recommend this for 1080p if you however want to switch to 1440p or 4K, this device is very power efficient and you should use the HDMI 2.0 version instead.
