Review on 925 Sterling Silver KISPER Diamond Cut Rope Chain Necklace - Dainty, Thin Jewelry For Women & Men With Lobster Clasp - Made In Italy by Henry Brown

This looks like a lovely, fine-gauged necklace. I needed to replace the chain for one of my pendants, and I thought this one would be perfect -- I ordered the 22" length, and it is just the right length. It is thin, but not too delicate + the clasp is sturdy and easy for me to operate. When I took it out of the packaging, it looked great; it reflected the light beautifully and slipped through my fingers smoothly until I came to a kink inn the chain. At least, I thought it was a kink, but on closer examination it turned out to be about a 3/8" flaw in the manufacture of the chain. Instead of full size, discrete links, there is a very tiny, coiled thread of metal that causes a kink at each end where it joins the undamaged links. This is certainly a very weak region of the chain. I tried to show the flaw in the pictures that I posted. I'm quite disappointed as I think there should be some sort of quality control to prevent something like this from being shipped to a customer. Without the flaw, the necklace would certainly have been worth the $36.99 price.
