The pictures are a bit misleading - the styrofoam has no holes as shown in the picture, it's just cut in half (so you have to pull out the squares which is a bit of a hassle). On the plus side, you can create custom compartments for the mini storage, but the downside is that getting the pre-cut squares out is a little tricky, as you often accidentally pull out or remove something you don't need. want, and then just get a giant compartment (and you might as well just buy a case with a foam liner). The case and foam are of good quality and do what they were designed for, but the need to create your own compartments (especially if the item is already pictured with those compartments) and the lengthy process somewhat weakened this product for me.
