Overall this is a great camera and a very good device for home surveillance. The packaging is good, everything you need to get started is included. Good thing the kit has a mount. I mounted the unit on rails on a second floor balcony overlooking my front yard. The viewing angle is very good - it's quite wide so you can cover a large area. The image quality is excellent both day and night. It's nice that the camera stays in color at night when the streetlights are on. When switching to black and white IR mode, the image quality remains good. The amazing feature of this camera is people detection and auto tracking. I get a push notification through the mobile app almost immediately when a person hits the camera. I haven't had any false positives from him so far, which is nice. It was a bit difficult at first for the camera to connect to my WiFi, but that was because I slightly exceeded the recommended 15-foot maximum distance from the WiFi router during the initial setup. Once you've got the camera working at the recommended 15-foot radius, adding it to the mobile app should be fairly easy. The app is very easy to use and has all the features you need. Overall I think this camera is good value for money and I would recommend it, especially for home surveillance as it has Wi-Fi built in and you only need to power the camera.
