Review on Skytap by Dean Ledet

The most important thing about Skytap is the flexibility to manage a hybrid cloud infrastructure. We were able to set up, run and manage our existing infrastructure in the AWS cloud with ease. The pricing model is also very attractive. As an organization is working on implementing hybrid cloud, this solution comes in very handy. If you are looking for a solution for managing hybrid cloud, Skytap is a right fit. We were able to use all the tools to orchestrate and monitor the workload. We could easily move our infrastructure to AWS with the help of Skytap. I like that we can use our own infrastructure for all types/platform from mainframe systems through AIX servers over Linux environments up front end web apps with SQL DB's back ends etc.,etc.. We are able make changes when needed as well using VMs & containers which is very flexible! This flexibility has allowed us great success solving issues quickly at times where others may not be available so this helps greatly by allowing me my choice but still having them support if required!!
