Works perfectly .NO! If the solenoid isn't perfectly level, DONE! and you damn sure make sure it even slips all the way, it'll break the seal and you'll have a big oil leak. This is because it is .016" LARGER than the stock solenoid. If you don't align it perfectly and make sure the solenoid slides all the way over the shoulder on the actuator, THE SEAL WILL CRACK. Why this magnet is not one can assume that it is made according to the original specification. Maybe they thought it was better sealed? Carefully. I had oil all over the road, in the engine compartment, in the serpentine belt, etc. What a mess. I keep all my old data. The old solenoid went in easily by comparison. This new one was a serious fight. That's it. So far 2 out of 4 are fine. Let's see how it goes.
