When I received the hot water bottle it smelled so horrible, that I left it on my back porch to air out. I haven't been able to use yet and I don't know if I will ever be able to use it. I spent a lot of time online searching for the best hot water bottle. What I liked about this one was it was supposed to be natural, had a metal ring and a handle. I am very disappointed at this point. I don't recommend this product.Update . I bought this hot water bottle in February and it’s now the end of April. I tried the recommended ways to get rid of the the foul odor, filled it with hot water multiple times. I also soaked it in baking soda water for two days. I have tried to use it by putting it inside two 2 gallon ziplock bags, but the foul toxic odor still comes through. It gets on me, my clothes, basically whatever it touches. I give up! I am disappointed that Revain would sell such a horrible product and I recommend they remove it from their website. Do not buy this hot water bottle. It’s repulsive!
