This is a decent product, does what it is designed to do. It filters the hard bits of fat out of the bacon and stores the fat for future use. It looks beautiful on your countertop and is well made. But a gasket that offers a decent lid seal would be a huge improvement. Otherwise it serves its purpose. We cook with bacon often enough to keep it on the counter, but I wish the lid had a tighter seal.
