I ordered these for my mom's garage because someone broke down her garage door. I easily mounted them to a textured wall with 3M velcro. It took a few tries to pair it with the Tuya mobile app, but it works well with push notifications. You can also set it up to send text messages, which might be better for long-term tracking. Now every time someone walks through their garage, they both notify them. While this is a much better scenario, it would be nice if you could defuse them for a period of time when you know you're going to be in the garage for some reason. or even arm them only at certain times. The way they currently work seems to be that they use alkaline batteries about every 3-4 months. There is a connection to Google Home and I'll look into that in the future when time permits. although my mother doesn't like change. I'm currently rating this four stars as it helps solve the problem at an affordable price, finds all the people in her garage and gives my mom peace of mind.
