Great for learning

Using the iPad Mini in med school and all the cases I tried I couldn't find a suitable viewing position or was stable enough to use a stylus or finger. no tilting mini (I'm looking at the $40 Apple Mini foldable case, which is cute but lousy in terms of structural design when you're trying to interact with the screen). With a secure suction cup mount and an adjustable viewing position (up/down + second swivel for screen position), the iPad mini can be used in less space than a traditional foldable case and is more stable. Tired of holding your mini while drawing notes on the whiteboard? Stick it on the damn board and you've got two hands free. Tired of worrying about your $400 gadget falling to the ground and breaking due to an accidental muscle spasm while drinking coffee for 16 hours? Get this mount. It's designed to hop around the freeway at over 75 mph while hanging from the windshield. They managed to hang on your goddamn windshield. You use this with a desk mount that is held in place by suction + gravity + the weight of the iPad mini +. When you write, the force is likely directed down through the desk mount. I've found this will easily stay on the table at Starbucks/Library/Public. Just moisten the foundation a bit and you're done. Unless you're at a hipster cafe that uses picnic tables or something else that isn't elegant. Then just clip it to the cover of a USMLE prep book that you're not looking at. And yes, you can use the case while it's in the mount. I used the i-Blason ArmorBox Kido Series for Apple iPad Mini Light Weight Super Protection Convertible Stand Cover Case (Black) and had no problem fitting it.
