Review on Intel I7 6700 FC LGA14C Processor BX80662I76700 by Adam Paka (Adam Trab ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

I ran it on the bus on a budget motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 DDR3. For stable work, only 4.25 came out, at 4.30 every couple of weeks the computer turned off with a blue screen, repeatedly. This did not suit me, so I decided to lower it to 4.25, for half a year there have been no problems. It works under the Thermaltake SpinQ VT cooler, heats up no more than 70 degrees under 100% load, especially since the cooler is rather weak for overclocking, despite its size. On the Zalman CNPS10X Optima, temperatures were a couple of degrees cooler.

Pros
  • - The processor, like a processor, a piece of silicon :) pulls all modern games in 2022 at ultra settings (in overclocking the bus to 4.25 GHz)
Cons
  • - Well, of course, this is thermal paste under the cover, if not for it, the potential for overclocking would be greater - More than 1.7 years of operation did not notice
