This set was great for my first attempt at tying. It is exactly like in the photo. I've bound two books and don't need any tools that aren't included. But there are no clues or explanations on several things. For example, I had no idea what that little metal ring was or what the difference between bone folders was. I came back to this site and found out what the ring was, but I still have no idea why or when I used one bone folder instead of another. Warning. The awl is very sharp, it not only goes through paper and cardboard. plus chipboard and fingers (I literally bled for my art lol)
