Note that the instructions require at least two screws to be installed in the studs. Without saying that, I think Hangman insists on keeping the same weight that the product is supposed to support (which I think was 100lbs for this item). That seems like a fair request. This mount provides a very snug fit for your item on the wall. I would definitely call it "flush", like my closet was bolted directly to the wall. The problem with this is that lifting and sliding your item down so that the Z-channels hook into each other needs to be approached carefully and conscientiously. It is much more difficult than hanging a picture on the wall with nail and wire but the result is worth it and now that I have this first experience I would buy other Hangman products. The wall mounted section has pre-drilled holes. 1 inch apart along its entire length. This makes it easy to line up the holes with a bolt. The section attached to the cabinet has holes that are spaced apart, maybe 3 or 4 inches. This worked fine for me. I ordered a 30" closet to hang a 26" long closet, so I had to cut the side of the hanger attached to the closet with a hacksaw. It was easy and the piece didn't bend when I attached it securely to the workbench and made the cut. I trimmed the wall mounted side to 20 inches so it would span two wall studs and a bit more. This gives me the ability to slide the cabinet slightly to the left or right along the wall without opening the wall bracket.
