I like that it's compact

This is a very compact speaker with an excellent design. I love that it's compact, easy to connect, has an aux input and the top speaker allows me to put it in a cup holder on my bike, stroller etc for sound on the go. it lacks any kind of bass. I have a Bose Soundlink Mini which absolutely excels in sound quality, especially bass. Bose isn't much bigger, but it's a lot heavier. But Bose also costs A LOT more money. You get what you pay for in this case.
