Not sure which monitor to buy?

I regularly use 5 monitors a day. I use a DVI to Thunderbolt cable as I work with high quality graphics. Viewsonic clarity and true color is all I could ask for. There were no dead pixels or distortion for a large monitor. I had it on other monitors. I used to buy monitors from Sony and Samsung. Their color and definition were excellent. But their warranty has been reduced to 1 year. I spent a lot of time looking into the later purchase of Viewsonic. The 3-year guarantee gives you the certainty that you will get your money's worth with this device and hopefully you will not have to send it in for repairs. The icons at the bottom right of the front panel show you where to press the power and settings buttons at the bottom. I've found you can make significant adjustments, but they were factory set perfectly for my use. If you need sound, a more expensive version of the same monitor is available. I have a quality sound system so I wouldn't use speakers even if this unit had them. This monitor is attached to a dual monitor stand and I cannot see the screen reflection. If I want to watch a DVD movie alone or with someone else, this is my choice. Sitting about 3ft from this monitor gives you a crisp picture that's better than a 55" (not 4k) screen at 8ft. I suggest you use a microfiber cleaning cloth to protect the surface and remove the dust that is attracted to the electric field. The actual screen dimensions are 13.7 inches high, 22.2 inches wide and 1.8 inches deep. When using the stand, the dimensions are 16.1 inches high and 7.6 inches deep.

Pros
  • computers and accessories
Cons
  • Unattractive design.
