First I received it with a broken globe. But we need light urgently, so I'll take care of that first. Secondly, take the instructions, throw them in the trash and follow these steps. 1 Before mounting the plate, take the long screws (included) with washers and put them on the bracket. You must enter the holes that are closest to each other on each side. Leave about 1 inch and then add washers to lock it in place. 2 Get out your handy pliers and bend the strut slightly to fit the holes. If you don't, your holes won't line up and the brace won't fit. 3 Now find two screws (not included) and fix the flat part of the rotating plate in the light box 4 Now connect it. If you've gotten this far I don't need to tell you how to wire it up.5 Now position the bracket so the holes line up with the screws protruding from the light panel. Tighten with decorative black nuts.6 Remove the ceramic flanges (and gasket). Add balls, tighten with ceramic flanges. Insert lightbulbs.7 Align them with a spirit level. Since it's on a turntable, it will never be stationary. But that's okay because we won't be touching it that often. Overall the light fixture looks good, very modern, adequate lighting, perfect for our bathroom and at a much cheaper price than a big store. The mounting materials are of good quality, but the mounting hardware is questionable at best.
