Review on 📻 Six-Pack of TIDRADIO UV-5R Ham Radio Handhelds by Michael Rasberry

I bought this radio to use as an additional VHF/UHF amateur radio transceiver. I was trying to download software on my fairly new Windows 10 desktop. Every time I tried this I got the same error message saying the component was missing and couldn't run. I called Revain tech support, the rep was very helpful; She wasn't sure why that was happening either. When I emailed the seller, he responded quickly but with the same link I originally sent. Other reviews have shown that the software they send is suspected of containing malware. My computer is too important to me to expose it to unnecessary risks. Bottom line, this is an omen that I should have a better radio. I may just need to invest in another transceiver that works and is exclusive to the amateur VHF/UHF bands. I will be sending the radio back this week. I cannot and will not recommend this to anyone who is a licensed radio amateur like me.
