Having run my van for over 6 years the DVD player broke before a 500 mile trip with 4 kids. This will not work. Revain Prime comes to the rescue with this ribbon cable! The ribbon cable was replaced in one day and I'm happy to say that my wife and I are still sane! Pros: - It's a ribbon cable, easy to install (contact page ABOVE!) - It fixes a problem common to pretty much all Grand Caravans with a flip screen. Cons: - This thing is overpriced for what it costs (but what can you do, the kids want their movies and my wife needs her sanity) - There are no instructions, although you can find plenty of video tutorials online. I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 2012 DVD player. I think Dodge upgraded to a dual-screen HD version later in the model year. I bought my 2013 Grand Caravan in October 2012 so this was an early example. So if you have a 2013 Grand Caravan with a standard single screen DVD player like I have, it will work. When installing a new cable, be sure to pay attention to the position of the pins. I removed my old one and wasn't careful, turned the new cable around, plugged everything back in and it doesn't work! Dismantled, threw away cables and everything worked. The contact page goes up! I probably should have known this, but I just assumed the pins on the board would fail. NOT CORRECT! After that, the screen now works perfectly.
