If the DVD player says Blu-ray on the bottom, this cable is not for you! It doesn't have enough contacts and it's too short!

My top tv started turning off on opening and closing so I bought it and after 1-2 hours and some patience (and YouTube) it works better than ever and the resolution is way better!

I just saved a lot of money by fixing my broken VES myself. The DVD player in the second row of my van stopped working. It displayed the Chrysler screen and then went blank. After watching a few YouTube videos, I found that a worn/crumpled/cracked strap is likely the culprit, and that's relatively easy to fix. Replacing this tape myself literally saved me only $1,000 that the dealer would have charged. I am infinitely grateful.

My device ended up broken. The cable broke when I opened it, but I had to get a new console from a landfill. Now I have another cable in case the new one fails. I think the light on the LCD screen has gone bad. I found them online for $6 from China. I could wait a month or buy a new recycled console. Went with the rescue option. The cost is $40 and now I have spare parts from the old console.
