Ahhh, voice control and always plugged in all in one - see update
We use this behind our bed and it connects to Alexa easily. Our bedside lamps are plugged into WiFi controlled outlets and our adjustable bed and electric blanket are always plugged into outlets. Alexa, turn off the light! :-)Update: After a little more than 2 years, the WLAN function has died. At this price, that's no tragedy. But I took off a star because I hate when another item ends up in landfill! I figured it should last longer as it's positioned so it can't be moved, hit or disturbed in any way. Unfortunately, the MTTF was around 26 months.
