I ordered this for a hike as I lost my previous quick drying towel when I moved. The two sizes were great but I ended up cutting the large towel in half so I ended up with 3 towels from the whole set. For best results, I first use a quick-drying towel to scrape off the water, followed by a regular cotton towel (which keeps your cotton towels drier, especially if you've just spent a whole weekend in the rain). However, they dry quickly in the sun. The hanging loops on the corners came in very handy. And the larger towel had 2 loops so when I cut it in half both sides were still easy to hang.
